Duets are just duets and dialogues are mere dialogues. This is true only in ordinary cases. In extra-ordinary cases, a lead-fiance/spouse singing a duet is deemed to be obliquely referring to his would-be/spouse.

Any light-veined dialogue uttered by a star fiance or spouse can be deemed to have been said with his/her soulmate in mind. That's for fun. Samantha experienced one such scenario moments after the trailer of 'Rarandoi Veduka Chudham' was released. Naga Chaitanya's line 'Ammayilu manasshanthiki hanikaram' (Girls are injurious to peace of mind) from the trailer had a follower alert Sam about the anti-romantic line.

Sam, the cute soulmate of the Akkineni guy that she is, laughed away in style: 'Ha ha migatha ammayilu gurunchi'.
