The comeback of Mohan Babu

  • IndiaGlitz, [Thursday,April 07 2016]

Ever since Mohan Babu fielded questions from mediapersons yesterday on his Sree Vidyanikethan campus at Rangampet, speculation about which party he might join has refused to die. Of course, with him saying that he has been pained by the plight of the poor, it would be intuitive to say that it won't be the ruling TDP for sure.

As someone known for his sensationalist utterances, the educationist-actor said that he was an 'aveshaparudu', but not an 'avineethiparudu'. Saying that he wouldn't take into consideration caste and religious equations before joining a political party, the Manchu icon added that party-hopping is lowly. "If someone has been elected as a representative, he has to be with the party for the rest of the term. If not, he has to resign and work for the people," he said in his inimitable style.

When he was asked if he will join YSRCP given the personal relationship with the YS family, he had had cordial relations with Chandrababu Naidu as well.
