The Great Indian Kitchen wins praises from THIS Bollywood director!

Actors Suraj Venjaramoodu and Nimisha Sajayan starrer 'The Great Indian Kitchen', which first released on the OTT platform Neestream and later on Amazon Prime Video, is directed by Jeo Baby. Upon release, the movie got positive reactions from various film critics, celebs, and the audience.
Bollywood director Hansal Mehta is the latest celeb to have watched the much-talked-about Malayalam film. Taking to his Twitter handle, the veteran director praised the team for its screenplay. Mehta wrote, Watched The Great Indian Kitchen. Am just taken in by this new Malayalam cinema. Such maturity, economy and elegance while dealing with pertinent themes. No rabble rousing, no pompous dialogue, no preaching. Yet so much power in the storytelling. Such honesty in the craft (sic).
Meanwhile, the movie recently got selected to be screened at the UK Asian Film Festival in 2021. The movie was earlier selected for the Shanghai International Film Festival too.
