What would it be like if you finally get a chance to meet the playwright whose play you have been performing for over four years across the country? Actress Nimrat Kaur is getting such a rare opportunity as she travels to Zagreb Film Festival with ‘The Lunchbox’ this weekend.

Nimrat has been acting in the play ‘All About Woman’ which has been written by Miro Gavran, the Croatian writer whose works have been translated into 35 languages. The play has travelled to 11 Indian cities and has already had 61 shows.

Besides being selected for major theatre festivals, ‘All About Woman’ has won seven nominations at the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards, including a best actress nomination for Nimrat.

Now Nimrat will get to meet Gavran in Zagreb. She had written to the busy writer and he replied back saying: I am very happy to hear that Nimrat Kaur has had a lot of success with her film ‘The Lunchbox’ and that she is coming to my city. I would like to meet with her.

It's like a dream come true for Nimrat. If I get to meet Mr Gavran that would be surreal. I hope it happens, she said with a smile before leaving for Zagreb.
