Sivakarthikeyan's 'Velaikaran' rights bagged by this multiplex giant!

Actor Sivakarthikeyan's 'Velaikaran' is one of the most anticipated movies of the year fans. The film which is directed by Mohan Raja of 'Thani Oruvan' fame is touted to be an action thriller drama.

It is now official that the film's rights for Chennai has been acquired by multiplex chain SPI Cinemas. 'Velaikaran' which is bankrolled by 24AM Studios is slated to hit the screens by December 22.

The film has Sivakarthikeyan playing the lead role along with an ensemble cast of Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil and Prakash Raj in other prominent roles. The music for the film has been scored by Anirudh Ravichander.
