It has been more than an year since Suriya had a release, with the fun entertainer Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, and after a long wait, the teaser of his next movie NGK, directed by Selvaraghavan has arrived. NGK also stars Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh, and here's what the teaser presents.

Beginning with Suriya's voice-over introducing himself as Nandha Gopalan Kumaran, called as NGK by his people. The teaser further presents him as a people's leader, fighting for them, and imparting knowledge on agricultural methods to them. Driven by consequences to enter politics, NGK is motivated by his love played by Sai Pallavi, who beams with pride on seeing him, besides also being helped by Rakul Preet Singh who looks like a corporate boss deployed to boost NGK's public image. The teaser also gives a glimpse of the antagonists - Vela Ramamoorthy, Ponvannan and Thalaivasal Vijay, and NGK being prepared to learn the nuances of politics.

Yuvan Shankar Raja's background score is pulsating, and the dark tone and the bloody nature of dirty politics is presented with the visuals captured by Sivakumar Vijayan. With Suriya in supreme form, and director Selvaraghavan giving memories of his classic Pudhupettai with the theme and visuals presented in the teaser, NGK can be expected to be one of the most realistic and raw, gritty political entertainers of the industry. Just as Suriya says in the end of the teaser, "Kaathirukirom" for the release date of NGK!!
