Theni Court gives death sentence to three in child rape case

The Theni Women's Court has given the death sentence to three child rapists Robin, Sundar and Kumaresan. The trio abducted a 10 year old girl and brutally gangraped her at Chinamanoor near Theni in 2014 and threw the battered body in a well after killing her. The residents of the village have hailed the sentence rejoicing that justice has finally been done for the departed soul.

The girl was studying in her fifth standard when she lost her life after being ravaged by the beasts. What is more horrifying is that she was also on a "Viratham" for the Sabarimala Ayyappan Temple when the incident occurred.
