These three roles my father never did: Balayya

If NTR were alive, he would definitely be proud of the fact that Balakrishna plays a journalist in Srimannarayana. Fittingly enough, Balayya draws comparison between his legendary father's oeuvre and his own, saying that he is proud to be getting varied characters as his father got at this point in his career.

My father never got the opportunity to play Narada, Anjaneya and a journalist's role. Though it is only coincidental, I am proud of it, he said speaking at the Platinum Disc function of the film yesterday (Aug 26).

It is said that pen is mightier than sword. I will be seen in a powerful role that does justice to this saying, he added.

He praised Ravikumar Chavali as someone who knows the pulse of the audience.
