Speaking at a rally on Sunday, TDP leader Nara Lokesh alleged that the Centre is playing vendetta politics against its opponents. He was flanked by Jay Galla during the rally.

"Just because we are questioning them (BJP and the NDA government), they are slapping false cases against some individuals (related to the TDP). They have cases against Jay Galla. Not just him, even his relatives have been targeted. They are inconveniencing actor Mahesh Babu in the name of GST," Lokesh said.

Twice in recent months, the GST Commissionerate in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy district issued a notice to Mahesh and AMB Cinemas (in two separate instances) over dues. There hardly was any vendetta politics in these cases.
