'Thimmarusu' Trailer: A lone lawyer's fight for justice amid thrills

A lawyer's quest for the truth makes him reopen a murder case. A cabbie was murdered in the past and an innocent guy was framed. The case was closed in a hush-hush manner. How the upright lawyer, played by Satyadev Kancharana, fights for justice forms the crux of the legal thriller 'Thimmarusu', whose trailer is out.
To be released in theatres on July 30, the film has Priyanka Jawalkar in a bubbly role. If Ajay is a cop with negative shades, Brahmaji seems to be that typically jealous guy who is after the female lead, only to be snubbed comically.
There are attempts to intimidate the lawyer, while the defense lawyer is played by actor-director Ravi Babu. Satyadev has been given a punchline or two by director Sharan Koppisetty, who is known for 'Kirrak Party'.
Also starring Ankith, Viva Harsha and Jhansi, the film has music by Sricharan Pakala (which explains why the BGM in the trailer is cool). Produced by Mahesh S Koneru and Srujan Yarabolu of East Coast Productions and S Originals, 'Thimmarusu' has cinematography by Appu Prabhakar. Kiran Kumar Manne is its art director.
