Director Singeetam Sreenivasa Rao has been known for directing several classic blockbuster movies like Aboorva Sagotharargal, Michael Madana Kamarajan and many more memorable films like Magalir Mattum, Raja Paarvai etc besides numerous Telugu movies.

Singeetam Sreenivasa Rao is now making a web series written by Badri Venkatesh, and the latest update is that, the veteran will be returning to films, to direct the biopic of famous carnatic singer and activist Bangalore Nagarathnamma.

It has been said that the movie will be made in Telugu and Tamil, with popular production house People Media factory producing it, and initial reports suggest that either Anushka Shetty or Samantha might be signed to play the lead role, and an offer announcement on this project is expected soon.
