Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's upcoming thriller flick 'Thoongavanam' which is marching ahead towards a grand Diwali release has been censored today.

The Censor Board officials who watched the Rajesh.M.Selva directed flick today has awarded a U/A certificate for the film without any cuts. Presumably the film as a lot of violent action sequences as evident in the trailer which may have rule out the possibility of 'U' certificate. This would make the film ineligible for the 30% Entertainment Tax exemption granted by the Tamil Nadu Government. The film has been produced by Kamal under his Raj Kamal Films International.

The run time of the blingual flick titled as 'Cheekati Rajyam' in Telugu is 2 hours and five minutes making and we can expect a slick and stylish thriller from the veteran star.

We can expect the announcement on the exact release date of the film very soon as the censor certification process is over. Kamal's birthday falling on Novmber 7 and Deepavali festival falling on November 10 are the two probably release dates reportedly being considered.
