The Teaser for 'Maharshi' shows Mahesh Babu as a student, a corporate leader, and a gutsy crusader in a Telugu village. The Superstar has sported three contrasting looks (limited to costumes and characteristics like beard) in enacting the roles.

Vamshi Paidipally tells a national daily that these looks pertain to three different time frames. Obviously, the friendship between Rishi Kumar (Mahesh) and the characters played by Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh spans over several years. The college campus track is probably set in North India.

The makers have said repeatedly that the film's story will be a major highlight.

Producers Dil Raju, Ashwini Dutt and PVP are planning to release 'Maharshi' on May 9.
