The Malayalam crime drama film 'Thudakkam', directed by Tarun and starring Mohanlal and Shobana, was released on April 25th. The movie also features actors like Fahadh Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Binu Pappu, Thomas Mathew, and Krishna Praba in key roles. Since its release, the film has been well received by audiences.

So far, 'Thudakkam' has grossed over ₹190 crore, making it a huge box office success. It has especially performed well in the state of Kerala, where it has become the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time in that region, surpassing previous records.

It has even beaten the collections of the earlier top-grossing film '2018'. In terms of overall collections, 'Thudakkam' ranks third among Malayalam films, only behind Mohanlal’s 'L2: Empuraan' (₹265.5 crore) and 'Manjummel Boys' (₹240 crore).

The film has also been dubbed and released in Tamil under the title 'Thodaruum'.
