As excitement builds for the upcoming Tamil gangster drama Thug Life, the makers have found an innovative way to engage fans by linking the film's promotion with the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team recently released a motion poster wishing success to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for their opening match.

Directed by Mani Ratnam and co-written by Kamal Haasan, Thug Life marks their reunion after Nayakan (1987).
