To glamour or not glamour

After playing a rural girl opposite Sarath Kumar in Ayya and with Rajnikanth in Chandramukhi, she seems to have taken to glamour for Kalvanin Kadhali with S J Suryah and Gajini opposite Surya.

Asked is it all intentional, Nayantara retorts I am not in the competition for top spot and hence there is no need for me to take to glamour roles.

Glamour is an essential part of a movie but it should be within limits. It should not be forced upon a heroine.

In contrast, Sindhu Tholani, who plays Sivakasi Jayalakshmi who hurled allegations of sexual misconduct on a host of police officers, in her next Alai Adikuthu, says, what's wrong in taking to glamour roles.

Even though an actress may have the acting credentials in her, but it is difficult to find offers in her early days Glamour is the easy way to reach out to masses. Once you are established, then you can decide whether to continue it or not.
