To Phir Baat Pakki? Bilkul!

Composer Pritam is truly reinventing himself.

After coming up with variety of songs in films like 'Wo Lamhe', 'Gangster', 'Ankahee', 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects', 'Apna Sapna Money Money', 'Naksha' and 'Bhagam Bhag' last year, he has started 2007 on an equally impressive note with 'Just Married', the music is which is picking up slowly but steadily.

The film promises a melodious soundtrack with each of the songs boasting of a unique feel to it. Though there is not a single dull moment in the entire album, the song that impresses most is 'Baat Pakki', a number picturised on 5 honeymooning couples led by Fardeen Khan and Esha Deol.

Others on the party scene are Bikram Saluja, Perizaad Zorabian, Mukul Dev, Sadia Siddiqui, Raj Zutshi, Tarina Patel, Satish Shah and Kirron Kher.

As innocent and feel good as it gets, 'Baat Pakki' has Gulzar saab in a great form as he wordsmiths the situation in an extremely impressive manner and gives an ideal gift to daughter Meghna who wields the megaphone for the second time after 'Filhaal'

The song was earlier composed as the film's title song since before 'Just Married', the film was called 'Baat Pakki'. Shaan, Neeraj Sridhar, Sunidhi Chauhan and Mahalakshmi Iyer sing this love song in a spirited manner while Gulzar saab lyrics are poetic yet very much accessible to a common man.

Over and above this, Pritam builds a simple tune around such poetry to come up with a track that almost sounds like a nursery rhyme.

The song comes in three versions in the album.
