Maha Dakhil was removed from CAA leadership for supporting Palestine on Instagram. Tom Cruise backed her by showing his support. Variety reports that Daha was sacked as motion pictures co-chief. Tom Cruise told CAA he supported her, thus she was allowed to stay as an agent.

Tom Cruise met Maha Dakhil at her CAA office on November 15. The publication reported that Tom "took the rare step of going in person to show support for his angry agent".
