'Spider-Man: Homecoming' takes an enormous opening in India and globally

Tom Holland as a fifteen year old Peter Parker/Spider-Man carrying the burden of proving himself worthy as an Avenger obviously endeared himself to the family audiences who have given the movie a big thumbs up helping it to earn a staggering 257 million dollars opening worldwide.
The US domestic collections were an estimate breaking 117 million, while 140mn came from the international market. In India the film is the leading the big screens in almost all centers raking in 6.5 million (42 Crores). The film is yet to open in the huge Chinese and a few other European markets after which the numbers would get much much bigger.
Spider-Man : Homecoming' directed by Jon Watts has a great supporting cast that includes, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man', Michael Keaton as Vulture', Jon Favreau and Zendaya.
