What to watch out for?

Dance Masti Forever

Immense success of ‘Dance Masti’ series has resulted in the production of its 4th edition. Called ‘Dance Masti 4’ at the moment, it again promises to be one enjoyable ride. Till then, listeners across the country continue to have a romantic outing with ‘Dance Masti Forever’.

#1 Rock Stars

Though the album has # 1 as the prefix, it has been stuck at #2 position now after making a rocking re-retry into the charts a few weeks back. A compilation in which each of the tracks work!

3

3

Let The Music Play

No one would have imagined that the title of the album would become synonymous with its actual popularity as well! The music continues to play on and on without any interruption and is now turning out to be one of the most successful compilations ever.

Re-entry

Aadat - Jal

One may look at it with disbelief the fact is that ‘Aadat’ by the band ‘Jal’ has actually made a re-entry into the charts, and that too directly into Top-5. Though the sales of the album had never died down in spite of it being out of Top-10 a few weeks back, a sudden push in promotion by bringing out remixes of the superhit tracks ‘Lamhay’ and ‘Aadat’ along with a bonus CD of 7 of their popular music videos has made ‘Aadat’ and attractive album once again!

4

Kailasa

Steady as always, ‘Kailasa’ is one album that has been least worried with whatsoever kind of competition it has seen in last few months. A success story that deserves all the accolades it has been getting for all these months.

6

5

Lounge Safari 2

‘Lounge Safari’ too is a success story in its own way since it continues to do reasonably well in spite of any promotion whatsoever. Is the music company listening?

7

7

Asian Flava II

Steady at # 7, ‘Asian Flava’ is now in its last leg and arrival of some more albums should mean an exit sign for this compilation that has enjoyed a decent run so far.

6

FRICTION 2–The Party Continues

‘Friction 2’ continues to play a flip flop game as after moving a step above in the charts last week, it has gone down by a couple and is now at breathing distance with relatively new entrants ‘Sona’ and ‘Raeth’ that should be moving up soon.

9

9

Sona

‘Sona’ made an arrival last week and continues to hang on to its # 10 position. If there is an album that deserves to be moving up in the coming weeks, it is Ram Sampat composed ‘Sona’ since it boasts of immense range. Till then it should do well to hold itself in the charts.

10

Raeth

Will ‘Raeth’ follow the Kailasa trend? Coming sans any major publicity, ‘Raeth’ has started selling well solely on the word of mouth. Sales impact in the music company has been such that now the hit track ‘Bhula Do’ is being aired 24X7 on all leading Indian music channels. One looks forward to an elevation for this album soon.

Arshad Ka Fuse Uda Kya?

Arshad Warsi is basking in the glorious success of ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai. He also had a superhit in the form of ‘Golmaal’ that did exceptional business in Mumbai.
