Marvel’s Jessica Jones - This Netflix show which has a rating of 73% for its third season on Rotten Tomatoes, is about a superhero with PTSD who starts her own detective agency. The third and last season premiered on June 14th. The Telegraph suggested that the end was “flawed, but wildly enjoyable.”

Dark - Another much-loved Netflix show, ‘Dark’ opened up to extremely positive reviews scoring a century this time on Rotten Tomatoes. Set in a small German town, this series is a tale of the disappearance of two children which hides a mysterious past, double lives and much more.

Young Justice: Outsiders - DC Universe’s animation series about teenage superheroes has continued its dream run this time. With a rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, the show’s animation has seen an upscale this time. The Mary Sue described it saying: “The show is fun, smart, and crazy ambitious.”

Orange is the New Black - Season 7 of this show will be out in a few days (July 26th) on Netflix. Meanwhile you can catch up on all the old episodes. The story which deals with a privileged New Yorker’s woman’s struggle in prison, got a rating of 83% (Rotten Tomatoes) in it’s previous season. It is expected that this final season will surpass that. Are you ready?

Lucifer - 100% again for Lucifer on Rotten Tomatoes. Hell comes to Earth in the form of a devil who is tired of his life and decides to have a change in habitat. The devil who comes to LA, has a new role including heading a club and helping the police. Sounds interesting? IGN suggests: “Fans of the old Lucifer will find themselves comfortably at home with Netflix's Lucifer, while those hoping for a darker, sexier, stranger Lucifer will be left mildly disappointed.”

Titans - The second season of this DC series will be premiering in the fall. The first one opened to a rating of 79% from Rotten Tomatoes. The show deals with a team of young superheroes who fight evil. CNN said: “‘Titans’ is a superhero hybrid -- a live-action series that essentially weds the CW's DC Comics-inspired fare with the gritty, premium-cable approach of Marvel's Netflix dramas. That's not a bad formula, and it yields an entertaining, heavily serialized show.”

Black Mirror - Though this Netflix show saw a drop in rating from last year (67% on Rotten Tomatoes), The Guardian described it as: “sweet, sadistic and hugely impressive.” This series revolves around the intrusion of technology into our daily lives presenting the scary possibility of a “twisted, high-tech near-future.”

The Handmaid's Tale - This show which aired on Hulu is based on the novel by Margaret Atwood. It presents the struggles of a woman who has been forced into sexual servitude and her battle to survive in the dystopia of Gilead, a totalitarian society. The latest season was rated 78% by Rotten Tomatoes.
