Popular TV Host turns hero next!

Tamil film industry has seen many actors and show hosts from Television channels entering films and becoming heroes or comedians and some of the examples are Siva Karthikeyan, Santhanam and recently Kavin and Rio Raj had turned heroes in Kollywood.
The next to join them is an unexpected person and it happens to be none other than Gopinath who is known for hosting the popular talk show Neeya naana on Vijay TV. Gopinath will be playing lead role in the movie Idhu Ellathukum Mela which is directed by Bharathi Ganesh.
Bharathi Ganesh has been known for directing the Vijayakanth, Simran starrer Kannupada Poguthayya. Ithu Ellathukum Mela also stars many child artists and more details on this movie are awaited. Gopinath has earlier played himself in Nimirndhu Nil and was also seen in Thirunaal.
