The film 'Tourist Family', starring Sasikumar and Simran and directed by debutant Abhishek Jeevan, has been released with music composed by Shaan Rahman. Following the movie’s positive reception, a success celebration was held in Chennai.

During the event, actress Simran said, “When the director narrated the story, I was confident it would be a super hit, and I immediately agreed to act. I’ve been in this industry for many years, and the love from fans is the reason for my journey. Sasikumar is a wonderful person, an excellent director, and a great co-star. I'm really happy.”

Actor Sasikumar shared, “After this film’s success, many asked if I would increase my salary. I won’t. This film has made many dreams come true and has restored faith in good storytelling. It’s proof that we can do different and unique films. Family audiences are coming back to theaters. After many years, I’ve had a huge success like this—but I don't see it as my personal win. I see it as a victory for the new generation.”

He added, “I have faced failures and always admitted them. Everyone knows the first-day collection of this film. Producers should be honest about collections with all actors, so no one demands higher pay blindly. 'Sundarapandian' and 'Kutti Puli' were my top grossers before, but ‘Tourist Family’ has surpassed them.”
