Tovino Thomas' friend reveals the actor's health status

On Wednesday, Mollywood heartthrob Tovino Thomas met with an accident during the shoot of his upcoming Malayalam movie Kala. The actor who has been filming intense action scenes for Kala, suffered an injury in his abdomen. After he experienced unbearable stomach pain, he was rushed to a Private hospital in Kochi. Upon reaching the hospital, the doctors found out internal bleeding and hence shifted him to the intensive care unit.
Ever since the news came out, movie buffs have been really anxious about his health condition. In an interview with TOI, Tovino's close friend revealed that he is recovering and is currently under observation and will be fine after three weeks rest. Doctor has asked him to take three weeks' rest. The injury happened two days back during the shoot of Kala. It has huge action sequences. He was having unbearable stomach pain and was taken to hospital today. There is nerve bleeding and he will be fine after three weeks rest, he says.
'Kala’ is an upcoming Malayalam movie directed by Rohit VS. Produced by Siju Mathew under the banner of Adventure Company In Association, the movie is about a man vs wild theme and Tovino Thomas is playing the lead character along with actors Lal, Divya Pillai and Sumesh Moor in pivotal roles.
