Tovino Thomas turns a superhero!

Tovino Thomas has been on a roll in 2019. The actor who was last seen in 'Edakkad Battalion 06' is currently busy shooting for 'Minnal Murali'. Directed by Basil Joseph, the movie will see Tovino in the role of a local superhero.
Touted to be a fantasy entertainer, the movie revolves around a rustic youth who gets superhero power after he gets struck by lightning. Produced by Sophia Paul of Weekend Blockbusters, the movie is set in the 90s. Arun Anirudhan and Justin Mathew are scripting the film that promises to appeal to all generations.
Minnal Murali also features popular Tamil actor Guru Somasundaram, Aju Varghese, Baiju Santhosh, Harisree Ashokan and Mammukoya in important roles. Cinematography is by Sameer Thahir and music by Shaan Rahman.
The movie's shoot is currently progressing at a brisj pace and it is expected to last for around 120 days. The film has been scheduled as an Onam 2020 release. It is reported that the makers are planning to release the film in Tamil, Telugu and Tamil as well.
