TP Siddaraju upset

From last two years noted producer T P Siddaraju of ‘Dhuniya’ fame is facing troubles in a series. When I made ‘Dhuniya’ 11 years ago there was no money, today money is available on loan but there is no peace of mind for a right producer he says hitting at his bad luck for ‘Yogi Dhuniya’ that is hitting silver screen on coming Friday.
Siddaraju a lawyer by profession was locked in one and half years in a legal battle over the title issue. He wanted to make it ‘Dhuniya 2’ for his popular actor son Yogish. It was the brand name of Siddaraju but KFCC declined to permit me to use the title as someone else registered the title.
When the talks did not bring results to get hold of ‘Dhuniya 2’ title we had to name the film as ‘Yogi Dhuniya’. The one who put a case for the title asked for Rs.25 lakhs for releasing the title to his name. My sons Mahesh and Yogish did not oblige for this asking. Then there was protest in front of my house. Where we are heading in the cinema industry I felt. TP Siddaraju was in choked voice when he brought to the notice protest in front of his house.
Sometime trouble would be for good. We swallowed many hit backs and for the release time there is one more disturbance. We thought ‘Rajaratha’ would go a week further according to KFCC guidelines. Now that film coming on 23rd is adding some more trouble. Nearly 75 theatres meant for ‘Yogi Dhuniya’ is going to ‘Rajaratha’ – Siddaraju was looking visibly worried man.
Mahesh second son of Siddaraju had seen the travel of his father from the day of ‘Dhuniya’ and says we should not bog down to anyone with a good making and good thoughts. It is Mahesh who told his father not to pay Rs.25 lakhs for title and suggested using the same for publicity of the film.
Yogish brought to the notice that Chalapathi of present ‘Dhuniya 2’ has uttered a lie. He had not told me story related to the title. It was ‘Jhanda’ film subject I heard and acted for a few days. When film got stalled and I was busy with home banner, he created confusion and disturbance. Yet I kept quiet on his statements he pointed.
