Shocking! Tragic accident at director Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai' shooting spot - Deets inside

It is well-known that renowned filmmaker Vetrimaaran is directing the highly anticipated film 'Viduthalai' with Soori and Vijay Sethupathi playing the lead roles. The shooting has been going on over the last 2 years and the film is being made in two parts.

Now, the latest reports suggest that a tragic accident took place at the Viduthalai shooting spot today and a crew member lost his life. As per sources, a fighting coach named Suresh suffered severe injuries and passed away after falling down while cutting a rope during the filming. The makers were reportedly shooting for the movie at Kelambakkam, Chennai.

Viduthalai is a movie based on writer Jeyamohan's short story named 'Thunaivan'. Produced by Elred Kumar under the banner RS Infotainment, the film also stars Bhavani Sre, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Rajeev Menon, Chethan and many prominent actors. Ilaiyaraaja is scoring the music with cinematography by Velraj.
