Trailer Review: Krishnarjuna Yuddham

'Krishnarjuna Yuddham', which admittedly belongs to a whole new genre, has been directed by Merlapaka Gandhi.  The recently-released teaser showed off a breezy streak, inviting the audience to expect a cool rom-com at least in the first half.  The humour must be situational, we reviewed.

The trailer makes it clear that 'Yuddham' in the title is not there without a reason.  So much of dishum-dishum and even punch dialogues like war and poetry don't go together.  So much of love and that "My man will be there for me, come what may" dialogue by one of the two heroines.

In the teaser, the contrasting get-ups of the two Nanis, their dialogue-delivery, etc were obvious.  In the Trailer, we see Nani almost attempting a makeover, with him performing loads of action.

Above all, the other side is taken by a surprise when they come to know that Arjun has a lookalike.

The banter among the friends (comedians Brahmaji, Sudarshan, and Mahesh Vitta are seen), the stage drama element, the rock band backdrop, you have them all in the film.

Anupama Parameswaran and Rukshar Dhillon (yes, she is not Mir now) surely have meaty roles.  Music is by Hiphop Tamizha, while Karthik Ghattamaneni has done the cinematography.
