Although the Teaser presented 'Mister' as an out-and-out rom-com, the trailer suggests that there is a larger-than-life hero in the character played by Varun Tej. Director Sreenu Vaitla is helped by Gopi Mohan's story with a remarkable bandwidth, as can be made out from the characters of the villain, the two heroines and the two contrasting backdrops - Cosmopolitan Europe and rural India.

In terms of the depth of emotions essayed, Lavanya Tripathi gets a profounder role compared to Hebbah Patel, who is ever-so-jolly. Varun Tej himself is a case of a love failure story.

The very many family characters, hilarity involving a child character, Prudhvi's presence, Shakalaka Shankar as an ahimsa-loving Ashramite all enrich the screenplay, on the face of it.

Tanikella Bharani as an 'Athadu'-style soft villain is a violent fedualist who bays for the hero's blood.

Last but not the least, Nasser's belief in the value of family relations is telling. As for the hero, he believes that love knows where to take a person to.

Mickey J Meyer's music and KV Guhan's cinematography seem to be competing with each other.
