Vishal has already shown that he is man to watch out for in the days to come.

Last year, he had two big hits. This year, he has already shown enough promise through Thamirabarani.

The film, which released for Pongal, has opened to smart collections and Vishal is now set to take up his home production movie Sathyam. This film will feature Vishal as an honest cop.

The film will be directed by Rajasekhar, a former associate of Suresh Krishna.

For this film, Vishal has managed to rope in the biggest heroine in the trade, Trisha, to play the lead.

Trisha is currently doing Bheema, Kireedom and a Telugu film with Venkatesh under Selvaraghavan.
