Nothing sells in tinsel town like sleeze and gossip does. And the fimmakers seem to be cashing on that for a film’s publicity. In fact, directors turning up in hordes claiming that their films had smooch scenes seemed to be one such a clever publicity measure only.

Taking that dictum tad too further seems to be the crew of 'Vinnaithandi Varuvaya'. It is learnt that Silambarasan, our poster boy for controversy, had never denied any rumour about a relationship with actress Trisha because it will work well for his movie. The actor, who has had a string of flops like ‘Kaalai’ and ‘Silambattam’, desperately needs a hit.

He is now working on Gautham Menon’s 'Vinnaithandi Varuvaya' in which he plays the role of an assistant director. AR Rahman scores the music for this film which is being produced by Escape Artists Motion Entertainment.

Reports of the off-screen romance between Trisha and Silambarasan are completely untrue, say sources close to the production house.
