Trisha's mother confirms her daughter's breakup

For a few days, there have been rumours that the marriage of Trisha and producer Varun Manian, who were engaged recently, is called off as Trisha is not happy with the dominant behaviour of Varun. But both of them have been tight-lipped and there is no confirmation from anyone.
But Trisha's mother Uma Krishnan confirmed the breakup between her daughter and Varun. But she is reluctant to reveal the reasons behind the decision as she doesn't want to hurt anyone. She added that Trisha will focus only on her acting career right now.
'Lion', in which Trisha acted opposite Balakrishna, will be releasing on May 14th. She is going to act in horror thrillers 'Nayaki' and 'Aranmanai 2'. She is also said to have been roped in as the leading lady in Kamal Haasan's next.
