TV5's crime reporter Manoj Kumar on Sunday died of Covid-19 at Hyderabad's Gandhi Hospital. The 30-year-old journalist was a resident of Madannapet.

As per most reports, Manoj had no co-morbidity. However, a section of media has quoted a Gandhi Hospital doctor as saying that he had been suffering from Myasthenia Gravis, a neurological disorder. With coronavirus attacking Manoj, it took a toll on his immune system.

Reportedly, the deceased youngster got married just eight months ago. As per journalist Revathi, Manoj had lost his brother and sister-in-law in a road accident only recently. "Manoj decided not to have kids and adopted his brother’s son. He is barely 30 years, a proud journalist with TV5," she writes on Twitter.
