Twitter has decided to offer four new settings to enhance the user experience. These settings are expected to go into making the micro-blogging site less toxic and more constructive.
Here are the settings:
Global will let anyone reply to your tweet.
Group will let only those whom you follow and mention in your tweet to reply.
Panel will let only those people you specifically mention in the tweet.
Statement will allow you to post a tweet but nobody can reply.
Many have responded favourably to the changes. These features equip the user with more options than ever before. It comes somewhat close to Facebook, a user says.
