Two films to vie for box-office space this Friday

After the postponement of 'Seetimaarr' to September 10, the field is now open for a clash between 'Dear Megha' and 'Nootokka Jillala Andagadu' this Friday (September 3). If the former is a romantic drama, the latter is a comedy entertainer.

For the past few weeks, Telugu cinema has seen a rush at the box office. This Friday has given breathing space to new releases. 'Dear Megha', headlined by Arun Adith and Megha Akash, is a love triangle with a tragic ending. Directed by A Sushanth Reddy, the film is produced by Arjun Dasyam of the new production house, Vedansh Creative Works.
As for 'Nootokka Jillala Andagadu', the Avasarala Srinivas-starrer is about the emotional churn undergone by a balding youngster. How he comes of age eventually after falling in love with Ruhani Sharma's character is what the comedy is about. Directed by Vidyasagar Rachakonda, the film's comical trailer gives it an edge amongst those sections who love comedies. On the other hand, 'Dear Megha' will be preferred by audience members who prefer serious love stories with soulful music and an unconventional ending.
