Two reasons why Mahesh Babu is shooting in Gujarat

  • IndiaGlitz, [Tuesday,November 29 2016]

As is known, Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for AR Murugadoss' entertainer in Ahmedabad. This is going to be a marathon schedule that will end only in the last week of December. To be shot in such locations as Dharmaj (near Vadodara), GIFT City (Gandhinagar), Riverfront and Ellisbridge, this Rs. 100 cr budgeted movie is in Gujarat for a reason.

An English-language daily has quoted one of the producers as saying the locations have been chosen for a two-fold reason. If freshness of the locations is one reason, the other one is that it will be a hassle-free affair. An actioner to be shot outdoors for a good part, any inconvenience cause by eager crowds could entail compromising with quality.

This Telugu-Tamil behemoth, also starring SJ Suryah and Rakul Preet Singh, is going to be the biggest South Indian movie of 2017, of course after 'Baahubali-2'.
