Actress Aishwarya Rajesh was last seen on screen in the sports drama Kanaa directed by Arunraja Kamaraj. The movie which was produced by actor Siva Karthikeyan, who also played a cameo, had Aishwarya Rajesh playing a cricketer and the movie was a successful venture.

Now the actress is all set to have her first release of the year in Tamil, and the movie Mei, a medical thriller is all set to release on August 23. This day is going to be special for the actress as she will have two releases arriving on the same day. Aishwarya Rajesh's Telugu debut Kausalya Krishnamurthy is also releasing on the same day.

Kausalya Krishnamurthy is the official Telugu remake of Kanaa, and is directed by Bheemaneni Sreenivasa Rao, and also starring Rajendra Prasad, the team has retained the portions of Siva Karthikeyan in the Telugu version as well. Let's see if Aishwarya Rajesh can hit a sixer in Telugu as well.
