Crimes related to cab sharing services are ever increasing thus posing a threat to the safety of the passengers. In a recent news, an Uber driver was booked under first degree murder charges for shooting his passenger dead.

The incident happened in Denver and the victim is identified as Hyun Kim, who was 45 years old.According to police officials, an eye witness claimed that Hancock told him that the passenger attacked him.

Police upon arriving to the scene found the victim on the front passenger floorboard with gunshot wounds. A semiautomatic Ruger pistol was found to be the weapon used. Uber has stated that it was ‘deeply troubled’ by the crime and promised to give its full cooperation to the Denver police.
