Popular producer turned actor Udhayanidhi Stalin will be next seen in the critically acclaimed director Mari Selvaraj's upcoming film. We earlier updated you that veteran comedy actor Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu has been roped into this project to play an important role. The untitled project is said to be a political drama.

According to reports, the makers have cast the famous Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil to play another lead role alongside Udhay. Sources say that the Oscar Naayagan AR Rahman is in talks to compose the music for the film but an official confirmation is awaited in this regard. The team has planned to make the official announcement by December end.

The shooting is all set to begin from January 2022. The viral speculation is that this will be the last movie of Udhayanidhi Stalin as he is planning to concentrate on his political career full time. Udhay also has Nenjukku Needhi (Article 15 remake) with Arunraja Kamaraj, Kannai Nambathey with Mu. Maran and a film with Thadam director Magizh Thirumeni are in the pipeline.
