'Podhuvaga Emmanasu Thangam'- Opening weekend performance details

Actor Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Podhuvaga Emmanasu Thangam' has taken a Good Opening at the Chennai Box office and it has taken the second place after 'VIP 2' in the Chennai Box Office box ratings in the pre-Independence Day weekend.

Produced by Theandal and directed by debutant Thalapathi Prabhu, 'PEMT' is a rural entertainer that stars Udhay. Nivetha Pethuraj, Parthiban and Soori in important roles. The film released in 17 theaters across the city and it has had 217 shows screened in its first three days. With this the film has collected Rs.71,44,886 with an average of 85% occupancy.

The film is expected to perform with the same momentum in the coming days.
