The UK High Court has decided against Pakistan in the exciting Hyderabad Fund Case. The verdict said that £35 million, which belonged to the Nizam of Hyderabad at the time of India's vivisection in 1947 and which was given to Pakistan for safe-keeping in the Natwest London Bank, actually belongs to India or the heirs of Nizam. Pak should now the huge amount to India.

Pakistan had claimed that the money transferred by Nizam Osman Ali Khan of Hyderabad to Pak belonged to it. Its claim now has no legal validity. As reported by Daily Times, "the case pertains to the Hyderabad Fund, an amount of £35 million transferred to Pakistan by Osman Ali Khan, the 7th Nizam of the former princely state of Hyderabad, before its forcible annexation to India".

"UK court has adjudicated Hyderabad Nizam fund case in India's favour. Pakistan to pay back 35 Million Pounds to India. Habituated to get defeated. Is there any platform where Pakistan has emerged victorious over India?" said Abhishek Singhvi, commenting on the verdict.
