'Ulagam Vilaiku Varudhu' is the much expected directorial comeback of Thambi Ramaiah who has been making waves in Kollywood as a talented performer.

Eventhough Thambi Ramaiah has two films in his portfolio namely 'Manuneethi' and 'Indiralogathil Na Azhagappan' starring Vadivelu, he took a hiatus from directing concentrating on acting.

Now. Thambi Ramaiah is set to don the director's hat for his next project featuring his son Umapathy in the lead role. While Mridhula Murali essays the female lead, the film also has an ensemble cast of Samuthirakani, Vivek Prasanna, Jayaprakash, Radha Ravi, Singam Puli and Mottai Rajendran in important roles.

The music for the film has been scored by Dinesh while P.K.Varma is the lensman. The shooting for the film began on October 30 and the film is being bankrolled by Thenmozhi Sungra.
