Umasri back to acting

The sitting Kannada and culture plus women welfare minister Umasri, profound actress of Kannada cinema (She is like Manorama to Tamil cinema) has taken time to take part in a theatre play Sadarame'. This decision was taken by Umasri as the prestigious Ravindra Kalakshetra is celebrating the centenary of B Jayamma, veteran stage artist and wife of doyen of theatre Gubbi Veeranna.

In the centenary celebration of B Jayamma, Umasri is participating in a few scenes picked from several plays. One of which is 'Sadarame' role. Former Rajya Sabha member and veteran of cinema and theatre artist B Jayasri also appears with Umasri in tribute to B Jayamma.
