With rising tensions between India and Pakistan and concerns about the possibility of conflict, uncertainty has even reached the Indian film industry. Many industry insiders feel that releasing new high-profile or mid-budget films at this moment may not be ideal due to the unstable environment.

As a result, there is speculation that Vijay Deverakonda’s much-anticipated film “Kingdom” may not release as planned on May 30th. The production team has not made any official announcements and is reportedly waiting for the situation to stabilize before making a final decision.

According to sources, the makers are considering postponing the release date and may reassess the situation next week. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, “Kingdom” features Bhagyashri Borse in the lead role, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. The movie is being produced by Sithara Entertainments.

Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda is preparing to begin work on two new projects. One of them, called VD14, will be directed by Rahul Sankritiyan, and the other, titled SVC59, will be helmed by director Ravi Kiran Kola under producer Dil Raju’s banner.
