Unni Mukundan's Meppadiyan starts rolling

On the auspicious day of Vijayadashami, Mollywood star Unni Mukundan started shooting for his upcoming thriller movie ‘Meppadiyan’. Taking to his social media handle, the actor shared a few pictures from the location of the movie.
Directed and scripted by Vishnu Mohan, the upcoming movie is touted to be a family entertainer, that marks Unni Mukundan’s debut production venture. The actor had undergone a major transformation for the movie, that will have him playing an ordinary village guy, who is willing to do any work to make his living.
Meppadiyan also has a host of noted actors including Indrans, Saiju Kurup, Aju Varghese, Anju Kurian, Vijay Babu, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Sreejith Ravi, Aparna Janardhanan and Major Ravi in important roles.
On the technical front, the movie's music is by Rahul Subramanian, editing by Shameer Muhammed and cinematography is by Neil D’Cunha.
