'Uppena' has taken off to a record opening. Released on Friday (February 12), the film made Rs 10.42 Cr in terms of Share worldwide.

Nizam gave it Rs 3.08 Cr, which is sensational. Vizag's Rs 1.43 Cr, East Godavari's Rs 0.98 Cr, West Godavari's Rs 0.81 Cr, Krishna's Rs 0.62 Cr, Guntur's Rs 0.65 Cr, Nellore's Rs 0.35 Cr, Ceded's Rs 1.35 Cr, complete the total.

Rs 9.3 Cr is the figure from the Telugu States alone.

Overseas's figure is Rs 34 lakh. Karnataka gave Rs Rs 52 lakh. Tamil Nadu gave Rs 16 lakh, and Rs 10 lakh came from the rest of India.
