Actor Nagesh’s Grandson Debuts in 'Uruttu Uruttu'

'Uruttu Uruttu' is a new Tamil film featuring Gajesh Nagesh, the grandson of legendary actor Nagesh, in the lead role. The film stars Ritwika Shreya as the female lead, with supporting performances by Rajendran, Asmitha, Hema Chinnalampatti Sugi, Bava Lakshmanan, Cheran Raj, and Mippu.

This film is presented by Sai Kaaviya and Sai Kailash under the Jai Studio Creations banner and produced by Padmaraju Jayashankar. The songs are composed by Arunakiri, while Karthik Krishnan has created the background score. Bhaskar Sadasivam has taken on multiple roles for this project – he is the writer, cinematographer, and director.

Speaking about the film, director Bhaskar Sadasivam shared, “About 25 to 30 years ago, government hospitals and public places had posters saying, ‘We two, ours two.’ Later, this changed to, ‘We two, ours one.’ But today, we only see advertisements like ‘Want a child? Visit our fertility center!’ everywhere. Our film comically explores the reasons behind this change.” He explained that the film is a comedy genre with a relevant social message.

'Uruttu Uruttu' is a satirical comedy that discusses shifting societal perceptions of parenting, with a humorous take on fertility trends in modern times.
