Actress Urvashi reunites with Priyadarshan after 28 years!

After a gap of 28 years, versatile actress Urvashi is teaming up with director Priyadarshan for an upcoming Tamil movie titled Appatha. Interestingly, the upcoming movie will mark the 700th movie of Urvashi. Their last movie together was the 1993 family entertainer Midhunam. Taking to his Facebook handle, director Priyadarshan himself shared his excitement about the reunion. Sharing a picture with Urvashi from the sets of the movie, Priyadarshan wrote, The reunion that happened long after ‘Midhunam’! Getting back together in ‘Appatha’, the upcoming Tamil movie which marks the 700th one for Urvasi!
In the picture, Urvashi is seen sporting an old age getup. More details regarding the project are awaited.
Meanwhile, Priyadarshan is awaiting the release of his much-hyped ambitious movie Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham that will hit the theatres on December 2. Featuring Mohanlal in the titular role, the multi-starrer war-epic has several big names in the cast and crew. The National Award-winning film’s release has been delayed by over 2 years due to the pandemic. The audience has pinned high hopes on the movie.
