UTV Motion Pictures that’s dealing with a number of promising Tamil projects and is known for their novice marketing, has opted out of two Tamil projects, ‘Vazhakku Enn 18 / 9’ and ‘Kumki’.

Says G Dhananjayan, “Understanding the requirements for the new projects Vazhakku Enn 18 / 9 and Kumki we believe Thirupathi Brothers are best equipped to carry out both the marketing and distribution campaigns which will be beneficial for these releases. Hence, UTV and Thirrupathi Brothers have mutually agreed to part ways for these two films”.

“We have had a great working relationship during the production, marketing and distribution of Vettai, which was a big success and we wish both the films through Thirrupathi Brothers all the luck”, he further adds.

While ‘Vazhakku Enn 18 / 9’ stars new faces and is directed by ‘Kadhal’ fame Balaji Shaktivel, ‘Kumki’ marks the foray of Vikram Prabhu in Tamil cinema and is helmed by Prabhu Solomon of ‘Mynaa’ fame.

UTV currently has two biggies, Vikram’s ‘Thaandavam’, Jiiva’s ‘Mugamoodi’ and a promising laugh riot ‘Masala Cafe’.
