Keeping with tradition on 'Bigg Boss Tamil 6' the money bag was introduced yesterday and the contestants were tempted to walk out with just a few days to go for the grand finale. There was speculation among the audience as to who will be the contestant who will take home the money bag with an initial price of three lakhs.

It was rightly predicted that Shivin, Vikraman and Azeem would not opt for the money bag as they are well aware that they have the brightest chance of winning the 'BIgg Boss Tamil 6 title. Since Mynaa clearly stated that she did not want to take the money but fight till the end, it was left between Amudavanan and Kathiravan.

As reported to you much earlier , it was Karthiravan who put his hand up and took the money bag at the base amount of rupees three lakhs itself. Usually if the waiting game is played the amount would have been raised but the popular contestant was satisfied with what he got.

Coming to the remuneration Kathiravan reportedly signed up for 'Bigg Boss 6' for Rs. 20,000/- per day and he stayed in the house for exactly 100 days. Accordingly it is estimated that he walked home yesterday with a cool Rs. 20 lakhs as salary plus the Rs. 3 lakhs from the money bag which totals to rupees 23 lakhs.

The title winner of 'Bigg Boss Tamil 6' will get a cash prize of 50 lakh rupees. Now the battle for the crown is between Shivin, Azeem, Vikraman and maybe Amudhavanan who could well be a dark horse in the race. The grand finale hosted by Kamal Haasan will be held on Sunday 22nd January.
